Insight Millennium
This computerized nervous system scanning equipment helps us to objectively detect areas of nerve tension as well as document and monitor client results. The two scans are Surface Electromyography (SEMG) and Thermography. The SEMG measures how well your motor nerves (going to your muscles) are working by reading the amount of current found in the muscles. The Thermal Scan measures the temperature along the skin and compares side to side. This information relates to the autonomic nervous system which goes to your internal organs. With your skin being your largest organ interference in the nervous system can cause temperature irregularities from side to side. Since symptoms are always the last to show and the first to go, it is important to monitor the function of your nervous system which is why we utilize the Insight Millennium.

What to Expect
The initial evaluation at Wellness Wave consists of two visits. During your first visit we'll have you complete a comprehensive health questionnaire and consultation to assess your health and to find out what you hope to accomplish by receiving NSA care. We follow up with a complete neurological exam, which includes paraspinal thermal imaging and surface EMG. This will be followed by an entrainment (treatment).

During your first session, you may feel relaxed and have more awareness of your breath. We will then ask you to observe yourself over the course of the next several days for any changes you may notice physically or mentally/emotionally.

On your follow up visit, which ideally occurs 24-48 hours after your initial visit, we will ask you to share the changes you observed. We will also give you a report of the findings from your neurological exam.

Based on your observations and the findings from the exam, we can:
1) Determine if care is appropriate for you
2) Determine how much care you would need
3) Explain the costs
4) Give you some things you can do on your own to assist you in your progress
